Have you
ever sat there trying to think of new, fresh ways to describe emotion in your writing? I know I have, and that’s why I found TheBookshelf Muse blog site a wonderful writer’s resource. And why I’m pleased they published, The
Emotion Thesaurus. So if your characters
are nodding and smiling too much this thesaurus might give your imagination a
boost.
The Bookshelf Muse
blog is also worth a look. There you
will find thesauruses for weather, settings, character traits, colour, textures,
shapes, and so much more.
It's good to know there is help out there in learning how to write emotion. Expressing feelings can be a challenge for a writer. Thanks for the info Jill.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Anna. It's always good to find resources like this book as well as The Bookshelf Muse blog.
DeleteThanks for sharing this tip. I will have to look for it the next time I'm in the bookstore!
ReplyDeleteIt's worth a look, Debbie. And it comes in Kindle as well as paperback format.
DeleteWhat kind words--so glad you are getting good use out of the book and the blog. Thanks so much for the shout out, Jill! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy writing,
Angela
Thank you, Angela, for such a great book. I look forward to your next thesaurus.
